Accreditation Audit for Netherlands Maritime Institute of Technology (NMIT)

Date of Audit: 5th to -6th February 2016


1. Diploma in Maritime Transportation Management 

2. Diploma in Shipping Management
           3. Diploma in Port Management

 A team from CILTM consisting of Dr.Dazmin Bin Daud, Pn Sharifah Salwa and Assoc. Prof.Dr. Muhammad Zaly Shah (Head) conducted an accreditation audit on the Diploma in Maritime Transportation Management (DMTM), Diploma in Shipping Management (DSM) and Diploma in Port Management (DPM) programs of Netherlands Maritime Institute of Technology (NMIT), Johor Bahru from 5-6 February 2016. The audit is required as for the programs to be accredited as Professional Programs of CILTM. Hence, the purpose of the audit is to determine if the program meets the accreditation requirement of the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport Malaysia (CILTM). The panel has interviewed lecturers, students, checking the related documents, syllabuses, offices,bildings and facilities for the purpose of qualifying as the training provider of CILT.  NMIT is accepted as the approved for the Training Provider of  CILT Malaysia under the programme of Diploma in Maritime Transportation Management,  Diploma in Shipping Management and  Diploma in Port Management.

CILTM FACILITIES AUDIT VISIT TO NETHERLANDS MARITIME INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY (NMIT)

27th July 2018 AS TRAINING PROVIDER FOR PQE PROGRAM

NMIT has offered itself to conduct CILTM Professional Qualifying Examination (PQE). In line with this, CILTM visited Netherlands Maritime Institute of Technology at Johor Bharu on 27thJuly 2018 to discuss the matter. The audit visit which was conducted on the 27th July 2018 for the purpose of accreditation training centre for CILT PQE Program. The panel has interviewed the management of NMIT and checked the related documents, offices, buildings and facilities for the purpose of qualifying as the training provider of CILTM. The overall of the audit were acceptable and met the minimum requirement as training provider of CILT Malaysia. Through the auditing the panel had recommended that the NMIT is accepted as the Approved for the Training Provider (ATP) of the CILT Malaysia for the PQE programme.
