Accreditation Re-Audit for Bachelor of Industrial Logistics (Hons) and Diploma of Industrial Logistics on 8 - 9 May 2017

A team from CILTM consisting of Dr. Mansor Abdul Rahman, Pn Sharifah Salwa and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Muhammad Zaly Shah (Chaiman of Audit Panel) conducted an accreditation audit on the Bachelor of Industrial Logistics (Hons) and Diploma in Industrial Logistics program of UniKL MITEC from 8-9 May 2017. 

The audit is required for the program to be reaccredited as Professional Degree Program of CILTM. Hence, the purpose of the audit is to determine if the program continues to meet the accreditation requirement of the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport Malaysia (CILTM).

The program – Bachelor of Industrial Logistics (Hons) – is a 4 year (8 semesters) degree program. The program has received full MQA accreditation (MQA/FA9067)  The program is conducted at the UniKL MITEC campus in Pasir Gudang, Johor.  

The program – Diploma in Industrial Logistics – is a 3 year (6 semesters) degree program. The program has received full MQA accreditation (MQA/FA9066)  The program is conducted at the UniKL MITEC campus in Pasir Gudang, Johor.

Accreditation Audit for Bachelor of Industrial Logistics (Hons) and Diploma of Industrial Logistics on 10 – 11 March 2011

Attending the audit on behalf of CILTM were Dr Muhammad Zaly Shah, Chairman of CILTM Education & Research Committee, Tn Haji Muhamad Zani Muhamad, Member of CILTM Education & Research Committee, Pn Hajjah Zawiah Abdul Majid, Member of CILTM Education & Research Committee and Mrs. Sharifah Salwa Bt Abu Bakar CILTM Administration Manager. The audit visit which was conducted on the 10th to 11th March 2011 for the purpose of accreditation programme with CILT. The panel has interviewed lecturers, students, checking the related documents, syllabuses, offices, buildings and facilities for the purpose of qualifying as the training provider of CILT. Several observations were obtained and the suggestion for improvement had been advised especially on the contents of the syllabuses, additional subjects, class rooms, programme and surrounding facilities. The overall of the audit had acceptable and met the minimum requirement as training provider of CILT Malaysia. Through the audit the panel had recommended that the UniKL MITEC is accepted as the approved for the training provider (ATP) of the CILT Malaysia under the programme of Bachelor of Industrial Logistics (Hons) and Diploma of Industrial Logistics.
